These are my illustrations and design flats to show ideas for my designs for the Welsh Project and the Black & White Project. As the Welsh Project involved re-inventing the Welsh Costume, I adhered to this theme by creating several designs that included different aspects of the Welsh Costume such as a paisley print and then adding a modern twist. My illustrations for the Black & White Project were inspired by artist Ernst Haeckel. His nature inspired drawings and images were taken from his book 'Art Forms of Nature' and used to produce a collage of design ideas with a final illustration of my chosen design.
