About Me

 

 

I am currently studying Fashion Design at Cardiff and Vale College and am an extremely enthusiastic, confident and passionate student that has achieved Distinctions throughout the course. I will be studying a BSc Honours Degree in Fashion Design in September 2016 in order to further my opportunity to pursue a career within the fashion industry.

 

I have participated in two fashion photo-shoots to date and have modelled the garments I have made whilst participating in the processes and arrangements of the shoot. I learned how fast paced the fashion industry can be when participating in and presenting my garments in a fashion show at the Sherman Theatre. I worked as part of a team to help with the preparation of the fashion show and we helped each other with the fast paced changes of outfits. 

I designed and dressed the window display for Oxfam Boutique and displayed my Welsh themed garment within this window. I was extremely pleased to realise that my garment received much interest with customers asking the price of the garment.

 

I am currently due to undertake work experience at John Lewis Department Store in order to gain experience of working within the fashion industry. I hope to make important contacts at this company as well as gain links and transferrable skills. 

 

I am an ambitious, determined individual that is keen to pursue a career in the fashion industry with the aspiration of having my own fashion label or company.
